Team Roster Size:

12 players maximum roster size in all age groups. Beach Soccer Blast recommends a roster size of 7-10 players.


Game Format & Length:

5 versus 5 competition: 4 on the pitch, plus a goalkeeper.
Three periods of 10 minutes with two minutes of rest time in between periods.


Field Sizes:

Size varies by age group. U9-U12: 20x30 yards. U13-U19 and Adults: 25x35 yards.


Number of Games:

Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.


Age Groups:

Register your team in the same age group that you play the Spring 2018 season. We will use the birth year to determine age groups. Some age groups might need to be combined depending on registration numbers.


Uniforms:

Bring your own uniforms. T-Shirts, jerseys, or tank-tops are acceptable. Numbers and names are not required. Bring sun protection, warm up jackets and pants to wear in between games as weather conditions can vary and change quickly.


Footwear & Other Equipment:

Sand socks will be available for purchase at the event. No shoes, cleats or shin guards of any kind are allowed. Players can play either barefoot, with socks, or neoprene sand socks. No jewelry of any kind is allowed. Hard casts are not allowed.

Team Registration Fee:

$445 per team for San Francisco Beach Soccer Blast! (1-day tournaments)

$495 per team for Santa Cruz Beach Soccer Blast! (2-day tournament)
